Developed with Agustín Tapia, the NOX Genius 18K Alum 2027 is a professional level padel racket for players who want to influence the point from anywhere on court. Its teardrop shape, redesigned mould and all round playing profile combine control in defence with the ability to accelerate and finish when the opportunity arrives. 

NB: Please note that not all NOX Genius 18K Alum by Agustín Tapia (2027) padel rackets will come with a violin shapes case. These are only for the very first fee batches. once these have been sold out, the next batches will come with the standard NOX case.

Manageability

At 360 to 375g, the Genius 18K Alum has a substantial professional level playing weight. NOX describes the redesigned mould as more aerodynamic and better balanced, while the EOS Tunnel uses lateral perforations to improve airflow, manoeuvrability and weight distribution. 

The Weight Balance system also lets you alter how the racket feels in the hand. Interchangeable 2g and 4g counterweights can be fitted to adjust weight and balance towards your preference. 

The Oversize Grip adds 30 mm of extra handle length, giving players who prefer a longer grip or use a two handed stroke more room through the handle. 

Feel

The 18K Alum carbon face provides what NOX describes as a solid and comfortable feel, with more consistent performance when temperatures change. The technical specifications rate the overall racket feel as Medium-Hard, giving it a connected, responsive character without positioning it as NOX's hardest attacking option. 

Inside, the MLD Black EVA core combines different rubber densities. It is designed to improve ball output during slower defensive shots while providing greater power when you accelerate into smashes. This makes the racket particularly suited to an all round player who needs the response to change with the situation. 

The Dual Spin surface combines a 3D texture with a sandblasted finish, increasing interaction with the ball and making it easier to generate spin without compromising face durability. The new VCS anti vibration system also filters 60% more vibration reaching the arm than its predecessor.
