Developed with Agustín Tapia, the NOX Genius 12K Alum XTREM 2027 is a professional level padel racket for players who want greater precision without giving up attacking power. Its teardrop shape, medium hard feel and all round playing profile make it suited to players who want to control the point from different areas of the court rather than specialising purely in attack or defence. 

Manageability

At 360 to 375g, the Genius 12K Alum XTREM has a substantial professional level playing weight. NOX has refined the profiles of the mould to improve aerodynamics and create a better balanced feel, while EOS Tunnel uses lateral perforations to improve airflow, manoeuvrability and weight distribution. 

The Weight Balance system lets you further personalise the racket. You can add 2g or 4g counterweights, up to 8g in total, to alter the weight and balance according to how you want the racket to play. NOX does not provide the factory balance point as a measurement on this page. 

The Oversize Grip also adds 30 mm of extra grip length, giving more space for players who prefer a longer handle or use a two handed stroke. 

Feel

The 12K Alum XTREM carbon face gives the racket its firmer, more precise character. NOX says its rectangular carbon weave reduces fibre waviness by 50% compared with conventional carbon, creating greater stiffness and a more uniform surface. The aluminised finish also helps the face maintain more consistent performance as temperatures change. 

Inside, the MLD Black EVA core combines different rubber densities. It is designed to provide control and ball output on lower speed shots while delivering greater power when you accelerate into smashes. That combination gives the racket an adaptable response to match its all round playing style. 

The Dual Spin surface combines 3D texture and a sandblasted finish, helping the racket interact more strongly with the ball and increasing spin potential. The VCS anti vibration system also reduces vibration peaks reaching the elbow and shoulder by up to 60%.
